Therapeutic
A tutorial-style practice isolating four main movements of the scapula (shoulder blade). They draw together, lift up, spread apart and slide down. Through isolating these actions with various degrees of body weight and arm positioning, we'll learn more about the way the shoulders move and work and eventually lead towards integration of movements. Props: Two blocks and a bolster.

Vinyasa Flow
This classic from the archives never gets boring! If you're looking to test your fitness and stamina and get a bit – or maybe a lot! – sweaty, give this fast-paced power yoga practice a try! This energetic class comes from Larry Schultz, David's first yoga teacher in San Francisco. It's called The Rocket because it "gets you there faster" and is a blended mish-mash of the Ashtanga Yoga Primary and Secondary series. Expect arm balances, hip openers, balance poses, backbends and inversions. Props: a towel, to mop your brow!
